White River Gardens is located adjacent to the Indianapolis Zoo, in White River State Park, approximately one mile west of downtown at 1200 West Washington Street. Below is a map of Indianapolis and directions from the north, south, east, and west of the city of Indianapolis.

Zoo Visitor Info
From the north: Take I-65 south to Exit 114. Go south on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. St./West St. to Washington St. Turn west (right) on Washington, then travel west for one mile. Entrance is on the north (right hand) side.
From the south: Take I-65 north to I-70 west to Exit 79A (West St.). Go north on Missouri St./West St. to Washington St. Turn west (left) on Washington, then travel west for one mile. Zoo entrance is on the north (right hand) side.
From the east: Take I-70 west and exit on West St., then go north to Washington St. Turn west (left) on Washington, then travel west for one mile. Zoo entrance is on the north (right hand) side.
From the west: Take I-70 east to Exit 79A (West St.). Go north on Missouri St./West St. to Washington St. Turn west (left) on Washington, then travel west for one mile. Zoo entrance is on the north (right hand) side.
From the Airport (IND): Head north on S High School Rd. Turn right at Airport Expy. Take the exit onto I-465 N/I-74 W. Take exit 12A to merge onto US-40 E/W Washington St. Travel east for roughly 5 miles. Zoo entrance is on the north (left hand) side.

Parking Map:
Upon entering the Zoo, go through the toll booths. You do not have to pay. Mention that you are here for the wedding, and you should have no problem, as it will be after Zoo hours. Keep going to the far end of the parking lot and park close to the wedding garden. The reception is within walking distance of the ceremony.
